Buses/Streetcars, Matt, Steve and the end of the World

That's right, Thursday was a weird day before I even woke up. Something I drank (no Alcoholic) or ate (not Drug based) cause me to have the most chaotic of R.E.M. sleep. This is the type of shit that starts as soon as you close your eyes before you even sleep. I woke up a few hrs before my alarm due to this madness. Having conversations like "I just want to sleep please stop!" to who I'm not sure.
Giger paints to let 'the demons out of his head' so I now write.
Out of the billions of moments in a single second I remember this. A great disaster was upon us, chaos everywhere, and for some reason Myself, Matt, and Steve (not my roommate) one of my longest best friends (High school), where on a BUS. Thats right worlds coming to an end, and we are on transit. At first it is a nice comfy Coach bus (Greyhound or Go etc) the 3 of use are just shooting the shit as building collapse, sirens scream.

Matt happily sketches with an Ipod an one earphone, nodding as we talk, Steve and I are bitching about some movie, with the eversohelpful nod from Matt. this is where someone at high speeds splats on the from window of this NOW TTC Streetcar. We all look to each other with "The Nerve of some people" and really hope the Streetcar is not going to be late. This is about the time the Streetcar gets itself stuck on roller coaster tracks and we start doing loop da loop, sideways swirls. Boutique bags and old ladies start to tumble around the streetcar, yet the 3 of use continue our conversation. At one point Matt swats away tumbling child that was blocking his sight. Steve with great talent, drinks a Diet Coke as gravity of the spinning Streetcar changes.

Then we end up going underground as the tracks weave threw concrete caverns of the undercity (A little like Spadina Station) we smash over a streetlight before we disembark the car to make a single story climb down to the next station. while we wait in the womb of the city, Matt shows me the newest book he pirated (it was down loaded, printed, bound, and full colour cover, and some how this was still cheaper than the real thing)

Then my Cat saved me from this nightmare with a single meow, so I could go to work tired.

Guillermo del Toro my clone...

First of not only is there a physical resemblance, his love for longcoats (dusters), his physical mannerisms and jovial humor also akin to me (behind the scenes with Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy). Personally He is one of my favorite Directors, so having this link is an honour. It was first pointed out to me by one of my students.

THE IRONY COMES UP NOW:
My roommate was a dead ringer for Peter Jackson (in his 'big' days, not his scary skinny ones now) he even wore the same type of shorts n cloths (not intentionally) and his cat is a Russian blue just like the one Jackson was seen with (behind the scenes again.) Maybe Matt could concur on that for he has seen him.

THE IRONY:
Both are working together to make 'The Hobbit', which sounds to be 2 movies instead of one.
This should be awesome :) so the 2 roommates have their clones at work for you :)

From Steak to Spam

It's been a while, but here is a quick update. I am fighting and losing with my depression, until I break free from the debt prison (Oct-Nov 2009 EST over 10 years of my life) it will always be with me. I am very thankful for my friends, and coworkers that keep me going.

I have given up on a job that makes me happy (Steak) and looking wider (Spam). I need to have a new Job and say goodbye to Starbucks, it's hard cause a lot of 'Spam' does not pay as good as what I currently am making at the bux (6 years of raises). Looking for another Starbucks a slower one can not guaranty the hrs I need.

So off to craig's list and beyond, take care.
