It will become a horror interactive story, to hopefully be a link as an example of storytelling for various 'Content Creation' jobs I wish to apply for, but at the same time Mishlof.com will also be a digital portfolio of art and my work, so effectively it has a purpose. Due to the need, for my Photoshop portfolio to grow more than the creative writing, for now, the story will be delayed as I restyle and refit the webpage.
Starbucks is all I have now, and I don't want it, after today I realized I need to go, break free from retail and do something I want, like the teaching was for me.

What if this is the truth?
We are lucky to be where we are, due to logic. We evolved, somehow, down a path that out of the millions of others animals, past and present, no other has. And because we reason, because we must always have all the answers, we defined our world. As are knowledge grew, so did we redefined the world again...expect for one element that defies our very nature ...Faith.
What is faith? Faith is the suspension of logic to better our well being. Faith is the security blanket, for our dark reality. To evolve we had to create answers that allowed us to drive forward, and not be trapped by our emotions especially fear. A person held by fear, cannot positively step forward. What is the major fear we fight? ...Death.
What is Death? Death is our end. So to comfort us a faith in an afterlife is created. Logic is suspended, and we all feel better. Religion is formed, to help free us from another emotion guilt, also to help create a very useful set of morals to try and keep us going a little longer. Yes but what about the ...Supernatural?
What is the Supernatural? Elements of our world that can not currently be defined by our knowledge. Let us not deny this element fully, but also lets look at it from a removed perspective. Picture Animals of flesh and ones of energy, and not necessarily linked together.
The human body does have an electromagnetic 'Aura' around it, and Extra Sensory Perception also has been studied. Ghosts, phantoms, are speculated to be no more than emotional 'imprints left behind' like data stored to a hard drive. Speaking with the dead involves one 'aware' individual, that most likely is sensitive to emotions, very good at reading people, and may have a slight telepathic gift. I am not saying that they are faking it, not at all, when they reach out for you, the may be getting emotional and minor flashes that may not actually be coming from a ghost, but from the living persons memories themselves. And why do they need interpretation?
Close to the end of High school I began to dabble into psychic phenomenon to answer my questions about death. I became very good at reading thoughts to a degree, and was tested in class one day, more to mock than believe, I asked him to focus on something and I would tell him what it was. I was under more pressure than before I saw in my mind a blue green of turquoise, and 4 rectangles and a circle, but the were not formed. I mentioned the color and I could hear surprise but I failed to piece together the shapes and gave up, he had been staring at a turquoise stool. So a medium can go one step further, take emotions, colors and thought of a focus person and interpret them, and add their wisdom.
Finally the creative mind, in a trance the mind left on overload can create amazing fantasies. the light at the end of the tunnel could be no more than a pleasant shut down screen for our organic processors.
So what if the truth is this, that we are really only advanced organic lifeforms, that live and die, and that is all. What makes us special from the rest of the animals is our logic, and amazing creativity. There might be Aliens, Creatures from another plane but they have there own lives and ecosystems, and Psychic powers. But it's all rooted in us. Those that disagree, I salute you, you have a strong faith in something... and I need to find mine, but then again we all know what faith is....
So to close live everyday like your last, be nice to others because hate take to much time and we are all in this ratrace together, and finally Make love, we need to propagate the species, and it's fun :P

Hulk Trailer
if you read my earlier post about Ironman you will seen my opinion on certain movie trailers...well the Hulk one takes the cake, first Trailer and it's worse that Ironman's 3rd. It shows everything, tons of cool scenes ruined for you, the entire story outline, and the climatic final battle? I really hope it wasn't but it seems so. Sigh..... well to try and wash my mine from it, and hopefully yours here's a little something I whipped up in Photoshop to take your mind off it....

3rd Iron Man Trailer
I can wait for this film, but as good as the 3rd was, they are 'starting to show to much'. Some trailers are exactly what they are meant to be a teaser to make you want to see the film, but slowly they have evolve to ...see all these cool moments.... then when you see the film you have lost the impact of those moments. After the movie has been released and they start making trailers to bring you to see it again, no surprise is left. So I really do want to see Ironman, but that was probably my last trailer to watch.

The AAA
After reading a few funny cartoons done by a friend of mine, I decided to hunt down and post some old comics I did back in the 90's for the AAA (Aspiring Alcoholics Anonymous) a drinking group of friends. You may have to click on them to see the enlarged view.
The Tale starts with Aric showing up to late, and finding the beer store closed , and needing booze for his House Party.
Now it should be noted the next comic takes place after the party, everyone has passed out and Aric answers a knock at the door. The party was at his house, otherwise taken out of context, you may get the wrong impression of Matt n Aric :P

The future of Mishlof.com
The site has been on infinite 'under construction' like many sites. I need to give it purpose again... So until it has purpose I am looking to make it a large 'pick your own adventure' site. Currently I am composing a multi-tiered quest line that may also serve as an example of content creation for other possible jobs. Plus I'm suffering a creative overflow right now.

It's all Chris's Fault
Another space to be wasted on the net, all for the love of Mishlof, and thanks to Chris, he knows who he is. Livejournal, myspace, and now here, truly Mishlof is on Facebook, but as that other person. Pictures Videos and easy nav make this an easier less maintenance site. Who know I might actually do something here.
